Broadstone Neighbourhood Watch

Scheme information

Broadstone Neighbourhood Watch has been in existence since 1987 and has a thriving membership which is continuing to grow. It has around 3300 members in nearly every road in Broadstone, achieving about 70% coverage of all the households. It works in active partnership with the Broadstone and Merley Safer Neighbourhood and Neighbourhood Policing Teams. Committee meetings are held every other month. Membership is open to all households in our BH18 catchment area for an annual contribution of 1 pound, which goes towards the running expenses of the Watch and the donations it makes in support of community initiatives. Members get a monthly newsletter with matters of interest and a crime report by the police. Broadstone is situated 3.5 miles north of Poole in Dorset, it is a low crime area and the residents wish to keep it that way.
