Are you aged 16-24 and want to make a difference to your community? Then you might be a good candidate for our Youth Council.

What does the Council do?

The aim is to empower young people and create safer spaces for them.

The council meets regularly online and in person with the aim of giving a voice to young people. The work focusses on crime prevention and community resilience, previous councils have delivered projects on student safety, knife crime, and tacking anti-social behaviour.

As a council member you have some flexibility on the areas of focus and how you choose to manage your community work. That could be through delivering events, social media campaigns, or meeting policy makers.

Grow your skills, and your confidence and make a difference.
