The Association of Dorset Watches hold regular information sessions, one a month, to provide the local community with valuable information and signposting.
What did you do and why?
We found that people in the community didn’t have access to information and support with crime prevention advice and so we set up a surgery in a local library

What worked well?
The local community responded very well. We provide information for people who wouldn’t normally know where to get the information. Although some of it is not entirely Neighbourhood Watch related or indeed crime related, but it providing a necessary service.
How did you overcome any challenges?
There were no challenges, as the library was only too willing to provide access.
How did you cover any costs?
There were no costs involved
