Cosgrove (S60) NHW

Scheme information

Cosgrove is a small village on the Grand Union canal near to Stony Stratford, we are located on the southern edge of Northamptonshire and have a Milton Keynes postal address. We have two Pubs in the parish; The Barley Mow in the village centre and the Navigation on the road to Castlethorpe. Cosgrove Lodge Hotel is also open all the year round. There is a good village community atmosphere and an active parish council. The Old Mail is the local community magazine serving Cosgrove, Potterspury and Yardley Gobion. It is delivered each month to every house in each of the villages. As an established scheme we invite all members of the community to join our network of community minded people, who are aware of their neighbours and will keep an eye out for anything suspicious and report it to the police.

David Smith
Born in the village of parents born here too, my heart really is in Cosgrove. My aim is to preserve the village as a safe place to live and visit. By encouraging members of the community to join and participate in our NHW scheme, we increase awareness that helps protect the community and reduce opportunity for crime.
