Monday

We launched of the volunteer recognition awards. You can nominate a Neighbourhood Watch volunteer who is making a difference in your community. 

Tuesday

Have a Communi-Tea event - get to know your neighbours with over friendly cup of tea. 

Wednesday

We hosted a free online seminar about how we are working to connect our communities and take action with Watch, Connect and Act.  You can watch the event here

Thursday

Community police awards., sponsored by VISAV are open for nominations. Do you know a police officer or PCSO who deserves recognition? We're recognising the brightest and best with the

Friday 

We're saying thank you, and sharing stories from across the network. Make sure you tag us on social media! 

Saturday and Sunday

Have a Big Do! Organise or attend a Big Lunch or a Big Help Out.

Thank you to everyone who took part

Thank you everyone who hosted events during Neighbourhood Watch week. The Durham Police and Crime Commissioner marked the week by shining a spotlight on the impact of Neighbourhood Watch volunteers. In Milton Keynes, Neighbourhood Watch and Thames Valley Police joined forces to recruit new members and promote Thames Valley Alert.  In Ipswich, Police and members of Neighbourhood Watch hosted an engagement event in . It’s inspiring to see the community come together.

Hawthorn 
Based in Pontypridd , South Wales Hawthorn NW held an event to celebrate their wonderful volunteers. They’ve been working hard to deliver improvements to the village green. Town Mayor Cllr Kabid for presented the prizes to a brilliant team – some of whom were in tears apparently! What a fabulous project, find out more about them on their Facebook page.

Derbyshire

Derbyshire Neighbourhood Watch hosted a fantastic Big Lunch with Police and Crime Commissioner, Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts, and Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Dr. Fatima Eltinay. It was held at Arboretum Park in Derby and brought together over 1000 residents, families, community groups, and partner organisations for an afternoon of connection, conversation and celebration. Breightmet Blackshaw

Breightmet Blackshaw Neighbourhood Watch is based in Bolton, the group recently celebrated getting over 2000 followers to their Facebook page. It really shows that they’re providing valuable information to people in Breightmet. It is a community that really cares about keeping their families and their neighbours safe.  You can follow them on Facebook here

Eaglesfield Park 
The Eaglesfield Park Neighbourhood Watch is based in London. It’s a very vibrant community who recently hosted an ambitious litter pick with the local scout group. 14 bags of rubbish were collected! An amazing collaboration and a huge improvement to the area. Find out more on their Facebook page.
