As we get to the end of the year, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone I’ve met, worked alongside, and chatted with across Cornwall through Neighbourhood Watch in 2025. It’s been a year full of proper community spirit, honest conversations, and people rolling up their sleeves to make things better where they live.
One of my absolute highlights has been St Erth. The energy and neighbourliness in the village have been amazing to see, and it’s quickly become one of our real success stories. Watching residents pull together and build something positive has been genuinely inspiring.
Sponsoring a category in the Camborne Community Awards was another proud moment. Being able to celebrate the people who quietly make their neighbourhoods safer and kinder felt so right for us. Our everyday heroes really do make all the difference.
We’ve also started laying the groundwork for a partnership with the Camborne Youth Council, which I’m really excited to grow properly next year. Young people have so much to say about safety and community, and I can’t wait to bring their voices into the mix.
Across Cornwall, I’ve met so many passionate residents, volunteers, councillors, PCSOs and partners who truly care about their communities. Every conversation, every bit of feedback, every cup of tea shared has helped shape the work we’ve done this year.
Looking ahead to 2026, I can’t wait to keep building on the progress we’ve made, focusing even more on Cornwall’s communities, supporting local ideas, and championing all the good work that often goes unnoticed.
Thank you all for your support, honesty, and warmth this year.
Wishing you a safe, cosy and peaceful Christmas. 🌟
Steph 🎄✨
