The scheme is to support the individuals of Forest Hall Park, Stansted to create a safer, stronger and active local community and to assist in the reduction of crime in the area. Neighbourhood Watch is one of the biggest and most successful crime prevention initiatives, ever. Behind it lies a simple idea, and a central value shared by millions of people across the country. The police are there to fight crime, but they need our help, our eyes and ears to pass local information to them, to help and reassure those who live in fear of crime and also encourage us to look after our neighbours by creating communities who care.
