NW Week

LISTEN. TALK. DO!

If the pandemic has taught us one thing, it is that neighbourliness and community spirit is just as important as ever.

Neighbourhood Watch Week 2021 (5th-11th June) is an opportunity for us to build on the existing and new neighbourly relationships formed throughout the pandemic. It is a time for us to build on the connections we have made before and during lockdown. Let’s stay connected!

This year we have a variety of resources below to support you to 'LISTEN, TALK and DO' with your community. We encourage you to use these resources as you see fit within your community - but always within Covid-19 government rules.  Remember to share your stories and photos with us on social media with #LetsStayConnected or email to enquiries@ourwatch.org.uk.

CELEBRATE FAMILIES WITH AN UNFORGETTABLE TREEHOUSE ADVENTURE

A key part about connecting with your community is about celebrating families.  We are delighted to announce we will be running a prize draw from the 11th June on our Neighbourhood Watch Facebook page to promote the launch of The Croods 2: A New Age in the UK and provide families with an opportunity to win an unforgettable treehouse two-night staycation adventure.

Visit our Facebook page on the 11th June for a chance to win and to share the prize draw with your communities.

WHY THE CROODS 2: THE NEW AGE?

The film is an animated adventure comedy film by DreamWorks Animation. It centres around values of community, neighbourliness, inclusivity, and working together. These are values that are close to the heart of all Neighbourhood Watch supporters, and as part of our initiative to reach more young families and to add to the positive and approachable perceptions of Neighbourhood Watch, this partnership offers the opportunity for us to invite more young people to become Neighbourhood Watch supporters for life.
