North Yorkshire Neighbourhood Watch Association
The Association within the North Yorkshire Police area comprises both Neighbourhood Watch and Rural Watch.
They cover a vast mixed farming area of the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York moors and the market towns of Malton, Pickering and Helmsley, as well as the coastal holiday resorts of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey with their four season holiday industry.
The Association, aims to support and develop Neighbourhood Watch within one of the largest rural communities policed in the UK. They do this in a variety of ways which include working at all levels with partner agencies in local councils, community groups and community policing teams.
They welcome and seek to engage with residents and partners to encourage new members to their network in order to expand it and continue to make their area a safe place to live.
