Northumbria Neighbourhood Watch Association
Northumbria covers a vast area and they have over 111 locally based coordinators reaching out to their communities.
Their aim is to amalgamate all the small groups to come under one umbrella enabling them to share information very quickly to all areas.
This way of working helps when they have meetings with the police - the Chair person from each umbrella group attends quarterly meeting with the Neighbourhood Beat Teams.
