This is much more about 'receiving' than 'doing'. As vulnerable self-isolaters we tried to think about what we might need and also spent hours and hours online setting up a supermarket delivery service but soon realised that you can't cover all bases.
Happily, a group of people in Belmont Village quickly organised this very effective WhatsApp group and suddenly we felt we complete reassurance.
As soon as we ask, the replies and offers of help flood in. Medication to collect? A bag of flour? Which local firms/traders will deliver? ... the volunteers and the information are there. The quick responses and multiple offers of help are amazing.
We feel so proud of and grateful to them all.
