Gloucestershire Neighbourhood Watch Association

The Neighbourhood Watch Association in Gloucestershire covers a county of approx. 1024 square miles (2653 sq km) and a population of around 600,000 residents.

They have over 1,800 schemes operated by 1,900 Coordinators and Deputy Coordinators covering 50,000+ households.

The overarching aim of their association is to maintain the existing Neighbourhood Watch network and develop it, particularly in harder to reach communities and in areas where the need for community resilience is greatest.

Their association also supports the promotional work of the 4 District Associations currently active across the county.

They work very closely with the Police and our Crime Commissioners Office who provide a great deal of support.  Partnerships are also strong with the local CSP’s, CrimeStoppers and other agencies. They also aim to attract association membership from areas of the county not currently represented on our committee from local councils, policing teams and community groups.

Their network is buoyant and growing daily.
