In response to our survey with 16-24 year olds carried out December 2022 to March 2023, and some focus groups and individual interviews we have run, we are setting up a national Youth Forum. This will be a collective of young people from across England and Wales who are interested in addressing issues around crime, safety and community in collaborative and innovative ways that are fully representative and inclusive. Topics may be controversial, age-old, complex, or as simple as coming up with a better name for the ‘Youth Forum!

The Panel will meet every 3 months online, with 2 in-person meet-ups per year. We envisage there will be opportunities to share your projects with key decision-makers, utilising our connections with the Home Office and other government departments, councils, MPs, policing chiefs, corporations, and Police and Crime Commissioners, as well as leading charities. While you are helping to make a difference in communities and crime prevention, you’ll also be building your CV and soft-skills.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be involved with, please just complete this quick form.
