We are very proud to congratulate Alan Paul, Chair of Neighbourhood Watch Peterborough, for being awarded the Cambridge Constabulary Volunteer of the Year Award.

With two nominations, Alan impressed the judges with his commitment to the force and the community. He leads from the front and is an active volunteer who has helped build resilience in our communities, reduce crime and, in so doing, keeps the people of Peterborough safe. Alan said: "It was bit of a shock/surprise when I got the e mail out of the blue. I was one of three volunteers in the volunteering category, and when my name was called out. More disbelief."
