Scheme information

Buxted NHW is an established group covering all homes & workplaces within the village of Buxted. The team works closely with Sussex Police and uses a fantastic communication tool to get messages about crime and crime prevention out to members. BPEC (Buxted Parish "E" community) has over 300 members and it has received praise from the Police for its effectiveness in getting information out to the people that matter - our community. A Facebook group (Buxted Talk) is also available for Community information sharing - https://www.facebook.com/groups/910693912357465/ Both groups are free to join. Our priorities are: "Reducing the fear of crime" "Tackling illegal parking issues" "Keeping the residents in our village informed"

I'm Mick and I'm a relative 'newcomer' to the village, my wife and I moved here in 2008 and were instantly struck by the pleasant nature of the village and the general 'feel' of the place. The Parish of Buxted is indeed a lovely place to live - but we all need to work together to keep it that way. Buxted Neighbourhood Watch is not about individuals - it's about community, an individual can make small changes - but a whole community can do so much more.
