Southwark Neighbourhood Watch Association (SNHWA)

Scheme information

This is the first of a kind pilot scheme to set the basic standards in the way new Watch Schemes will operate in the London Borough of Southwark. We are currently working alongside local residents, leaseholders, shop owners, MOPAC, SNT, TRA's, London Guardian Angels (UKGA), TRYGVE, private security operatives, the Council and other local authorities in making this a safer and cleaner area for everyone to live and visit. Our Motto is: " Where Neighbours become friends to form a stronger Community".

The Southwark Neighbourhood Watch Association (SNHWA) provides a main point of contact for all local Watches within the London Borough of Southwark to meet on a regular basis and share/gain valuable information about local safety issues, statistics, concerns, upcoming events which require further guidance and support under the umbrella of Neighbourhood Watch Schemes as a whole. Any new scheme must be registered on www.ourwatch.org.uk and listed with the SNHWA before it can operate as a legal entity within its own area.
