I moved to Hopton from Lowestoft as I wanted to be part of a community. I am Homewatch Co-ordinator, Parish Councillor, Secretary of Hopton & Gorleston Patient Participation Group and until access was restricted, was also one of the volunteers who maintained the Old Church Ruins gardens in Coast Road. I firmly believe if you want to make a difference, you have to be prepared to step forward.
