We are a HomeWatch Group for the Lady Roads in Cobholm Primarily we are all roads without a road - just a footpath. Hopefully we can eventually create a good community spirit where we all look after each other and prevent crime whilst safeguarding our neighbours. Watching out for the vulnerable and the elderly - a reall community

Knowing that I have neighbours who feel quite isolated due to illness or age and knowing that we've had social disturbances in my road I felt that if we could instil some sense of community awareness/spirit then maybe we could all watch out for each other. I don't walk well but as soon as I mentioned it to some of my neighbours I had offers of help pouring in!! Widening the scheme will hopefully enhance the feeling of community.;
