Sylmond Gardens (E0145)

Scheme information

This scheme has been running since August 2008 and covers Sylmond Gardens, Dean Close and Part Farnham Drive from No.96 to 66 and membership represents about 86% of the possible 112 houses. By members displaying the NHW window sticker, it sends a positive message that neighbours are actively involved in the protection of life and property. The coordinator keeps members up to date with crime reports or matters of interest pertaining to the scheme area and composes a four monthly newsletter for members. The Co-ordinator encourages reporting of crime to the police and is involved, if necessary with problems arising within the scheme streets. Currently the coordinator chairs a two yearly meetings with other co-ordinators/deputies/members from Rushden,Higham Ferrers, Raunds & Irthlingborough to encourage closer association between schemes.
