The Association of Dorset Watches (ADW) have appointed seven Watch Advisors across Dorset available to offer personalised help and advice to existing and potential members. Their contact details are posted on our ADW website.
What did you do and why?
We set this up initially to provide a type of mentoring service to anyone wanting some help in setting up a new Watch scheme.

Advisors have been used for the intended purpose and to provide help and advice to established Scheme Coordinators
How did you overcome any challenges?
Spreading awareness of the facility is an ongoing challenge. We mention it at meetings, in newsletters and on Social Media. We also have a number of other means of contact- e.g. an ADW mobile phone for messages, Twitter
How did you cover any costs?
There were no additional costs.
