What is Neighbourhood Watch?
Neighbourhood Watch is the largest voluntary movement in England and Wales, with approximately 173,000 schemes covering 3.8 million households.
The overall aim of the movement is to bring neighbours together to create strong, friendly, active communities where crime and anti-social behaviour are less likely to happen.
We believe everyone has the right to feel safe where they live.
Neighbourhood Watch is one of the most well-recognised and trusted brands in the UK. In 2000, an independent survey found that only 1% of the population in the UK were not aware of the Neighbourhood Watch brand. We have recently refreshed our iconic roundel logo to bring it firmly into the 21st century while retaining its strong heritage.
By being associated with us, you will be seen to be supporting safer, friendlier communities across England & Wales.
What is the Neighbourhood & Home Watch Network?
The Neighbourhood & Home Watch Network (NHWN) is the charity and umbrella body which represents all Neighbourhood Watch members across England and Wales.
We support Neighbourhood Watch schemes by providing a central resource for members and working with strategic partners such as the Home Office, Cabinet Office, National Police Chiefs Council and the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners. We also work with other like-minded organisations such as Action Fraud, the Master Locksmiths Association, Secured by Design and others.
Through our national Neighbourhood Watch Register and communication system, we are able to communicate with over 90,000 of our registered members as well as 300,000 people interested in community safety in their area.
Our website, ourwatch.org.uk, averages 30,000 unique visitors a month and our popular social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook are widely supported by our members, police colleagues and other partners.
As a primary sponsor in your field, we would work with you throughout the year to help promote your company in a manner which benefits the Neighbourhood Watch movement and fits with our common aims and objectives to reduce crime and keep communities safe. Previous work with primary sponsors has included:
