We are looking for a volunteer to research and collate information on potential sources of funds, such as supermarkets, golf clubs, councils and local organisations, which we can then reach out to for support. A volunteer is needed for a time-limited piece of research and data entry work, using the internet to research and then Excel to input data into a simple spreadsheet. There may be scope to develop the role once this work us complete.
Working alongside the Head of Fundraising, the role enables us to increase our capacity and can be based either in our Central Support office in Waterloo, London, or remotely. Applications are open from across England and Wales although ideally we would like to meet you face to face before taking up the role.
In turn the Neighbourhood Watch Network offers the successful volunteer the opportunity to contribute to a national charity’s fundraising function, develop administrative and data entry skills, training from the Head of Fundraising and a great reference.
This role would suit someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is familiar with searching via the internet and with using Excel to a simple, data entry level
- Is comfortable with a data entry role
This temporary role should take around 20 hours, ideally to be completed within a 4 week period, but we are happy to discuss this with you. There may be scope to develop more tasks related to fundraising at NWN once this work is complete.
