Devon and Cornwall have been working with the Rural Affairs officer under the Bodmin Moor Rural Crime Initiative to highlight the issue of livestock worrying. With their resin sheep Shaun and Shirley, they are educating dog owners to be responsible around livestock. They are helping to prevent these incidents using their partnership signage, theirresin sheep and a number of other projects they have in the pipeline.

Devon and Cornwall Community Watch Association are looking forward to sharing with their members the Rural Affairs team monthly rural themes.

They will be starting their livestock worrying campaign with their rural policing partners at the start of March which will include the #takethelead project designed to encourage members of the public to report livestock worrying.

At the forefront of the project working in partnership is Julie Dowton, Chair of DACCWA (Devon and Cornwall Community Watch Association).
