Scheme information

Heathside, Medina, Harefield. These are three streets mostly of post WWII war vintage and made of detached family homes. It is a quiet, attractive area that forms an 'estate' with only one road entrance/exit to the A309 and bordered by Littleworth Common and the railway line. It is London commuter-belt country, within close walking distance to the excellent Hinchley Wood shops and its station. It is half an hour by train to Waterloo and 20 minutes by bus to Kingston on Thames. Hinchley Wood primary and secondary school are less than a mile away; Hampton Court Palace 2 miles away. The A3 is nearby. A NHW scheme has been operating here for some 15 years, with a priority to deter crime by being security-minded and encouraging neighbourliness.
