Victoria@Neighbourhood Watch

Scheme information

The reasons for this scheme are to monitor and report anti-social behaviour and criminal activity in and around our neighbourhood. The dumping of rubbish and food on our streets is a regular occurrence, not to mention the health implications, and this is contributing to the increase of rodent infestation around Norwood Road and Victoria Road. Sometimes rubbish is left on the streets 5 or 6 days at a time and this usually ends up in peoples gardens. A couple of residents in this area have informed me they found chicken bones in the engine compartment of their vehicles. There have also been burglaries and car crimes in and around this area, all which have been reported to the Police. Waste is dumped at the end of Victoria Road where it meets Havelock Road. People drive up the opposite way of Victoria Road which is a ONE WAY street.
