Scheme information

The Scheme previously known as Wensley Road Neighbourhood Watch was re-named Central Woodthorpe Neighbourhood Watch with effect from 09 October 2014. As from 31 March 2014, additional roads were integrated into the Scheme, which is based in Woodthorpe, Nottingham, and it is now bounded by the whole of Wensley Road, the part of Arno Vale Road {including Arno Vale Gardens} from the junction with Wensley Road to the junction with Somersby Road, the part of Somersby Road {including Gresham Gardens} from the junction with Arno Vale Road to the junction with Maltby Road {even numbers} & the junction of Malmesbury Road {odd numbers}, the whole of Malmesbury Road, the whole of Pateley Road and the part of Melbury Road from the junction with Pateley Road to the junction with Wensley Road. By definition, this geographical area also includes the whole of Barden Road, Coningsby Gardens East, Coningsby Road, De Vere Gardens, Littlegreen Road {including no.1A}, Longridge Road, Patterdale Road, Revesby Road, Tunstall Road and Whernside Road, and the remainder of Melbury Road.

The Head Co-ordinator of Central Woodthorpe Neighbourhood Watch is John Wood: - I took over as Head Co-ordinator on 30/10/2007, and am part of a team of over 35 Road Co-ordinators running one of the largest Neighbourhood Watch groups in the county. We are always seeking fresh ideas & assistance from residents within our catchment area, who have a keen interest in limiting crime and conserving a safe & worthwhile community.
