Oxford City Radiolink Crime Partnership is a non profit making organisation which uses 2 way radio's and information sharing between retailers, the licensed premises and the Police in order to reduce crime in Oxford City Centre. It is committed to following objectives: • To promote and increase the safety of its members, the public and staff. • To reduce levels of actual and perceived crime, thus improving the safety and quality of life in our community. • Provide an effective and immediate means of communication between users in accordance with the operating protocols. • Assist with the apprehension of offenders in accordance with lawful powers. • To reduce the opportunity to commit crime • To reduce retail losses • To reduce alcohol related violence in the city centre • To strengthen partnerships with the police, local authorities and other agencies • To be an integral part of the local community safety strategy and emergency evacuation procedures.
