The Big Lunch 2012 – Get Involved!

The Big Lunch 2012 will be held on 3 June, just before Neighbourhood & Home Watch week which starts on 16 - 24 June 2012.
The Big Lunch is a simple idea from the Eden Project, funded by the Big Lottery, which aims to get as many people as possible across the UK to have lunch with their neighbours on one day a year.
This year, The Big Jubilee Lunch will proudly support The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Sunday 3rd June 2012.
A Big Lunch can be anything from a few neighbour’s getting together in the garden or on the street, to a full blown party with food, music and decoration that quite literally stops the traffic.
Events can be used as a vehicle for charity fundraising, launching a project or celebrating work already taking place in the community, such as the work of Neighbourhood and Home Watch.
