Saltdean Neighbourhood Watch Community Event
The event was held in Saltdean on the 23rd June to support National Neighbourhood and Home Watch Week.
It was a very well attended event by both the local community and the many local trades and professional partners who were invited.
They invited a wide range of ’ local traders’ to advise and inform the visitors on a wide range of safety and security aspects from plants suitable for use as a prickly boundary fence, as well as basic door locks through to sophisticated CCTV and alarm systems.
The ‘Professionals’ like the Sussex Police, East Sussex Fire and rescue, Crimestoppers, Trading standards and many more were on hand to reassure people and provide sound advice on a wide range of useful and current topics relating to security and safety.
