The Home Office recently released the guidance notes and application for the £10 million ‘Community Action against Crime Innovation Fund’ with £5m available for this year and a further £5m for 2012/13. The purpose of the Innovation Fund is to stimulate creative new approaches to tackling crime by empowering local groups to develop innovative projects to tackle local community safety problems.

The Community Development Foundation is administrating this fund on behalf of the Home Office. Be quick to apply for this funding for your Association as it is a rolling allocation process meaning ‘first come, first served’– closing date for an application is 1st December 2011.
